YOUTH GROUP  6th-12th Grade

Wednesday Nights from 6:30-7:30

Led by Wyatt Helgeson

    Current Studies

For Wednesday nights we are currently going through the book of Galatians verse by verse. Some key themes of Galatians are: confronting false gospels, the inability of the law to save, justification by faith alone, and the importance of walking with the Holy Spirit. If anyone was to bring a man centered gospel it would have been the Apostle Paul based on his past life as a Pharisee, but after his conversion he suffered much for the true gospel of Jesus Christ and lays it out clearly for us. Galatians is a rich book and has much to offer for us to learn and grow in our walk with Christ and to be able to confront false gospels and walk in accordance to God's will.

Bio for Wyatt

Hello! My name is Wyatt Helgeson, I am currently a Junior at the College of St. Scholastica. I am currently studying Chemistry Secondary Education to be a high-school chemistry teacher. Although I am at school, my main focus is ministry, I lead a Bible study on campus,  and counsel kids at Miracle Bible Camp in the summers. After School I plan to go to seminary to pursue my calling of becoming a pastor. I take the Word of God literally and very seriously. (2 Timothy 3:16) I believe it is key for kids of a young age to have a solid background in the scriptures  and to know the Gospel of Jesus Christ well and to equip them to serve Christ to the best of their ability. (Proverbs 22:6, 2 Timothy 3:17, Romans 12:1-2). If you would like to know more about me, please feel free to email me at wbhelgeson@gmail.com. Have a blessed day!
